Cost by Frame Material
These are installed prices — window plus labor — for a standard double-hung window in a Cincinnati-area home. Custom sizes, non-standard openings, and damaged frames will adjust the number up.

| ProVia Endure (Vinyl) | $1,100 – $1,800 | Homeowners wanting a custom-built, Ohio-manufactured vinyl window with a strong warranty | 25 – 35 years |

Prices reflect standard double-hung windows in the Greater Cincinnati market as of 2026. Your project quote will be itemized by window, material, and labor.
Cost by Project Size
Replacing more windows at once lowers your per-window cost. We order in bulk and schedule efficiently — which keeps the total down compared to doing one or two at a time.
One window replaced — common for broken seals, failed glass, or damage. Priced per window including labor and disposal.
Common for replacing the most-used or most-visible windows first. Bulk ordering reduces per-window cost vs. single replacements.
Full home replacement in a single project. Best per-window pricing, one installation disruption, consistent look throughout. Financing available.
Itemized quote by window. No pressure to move forward same day.
What Drives the Price
Two identical windows can carry very different price tags depending on what the installer finds when they open the wall. Here is what moves the number up or down.
Vinyl is the most affordable and handles Ohio's climate without maintenance issues. Fiberglass costs more upfront but outlasts vinyl by 10 to 20 years. ProVia and Andersen composite options fall in between — strong performance at a mid-to-premium price point.
Standard double-pane with low-E coating is the baseline for Cincinnati homes. Argon gas fill adds a modest cost and meaningfully improves insulation. Triple-pane glass adds $100 to $300 per window and makes the most sense for north-facing windows or homes near high-traffic roads.
Double-hung windows are the most common and lowest-cost style. Casement and awning windows cost more due to hardware complexity. Bay, bow, and picture windows are custom configurations — expect a significant price increase for these.
If the existing frame is rotted, out of square, or water-damaged, it needs to be repaired or rebuilt before the new window goes in. This is common in Cincinnati homes built before 1980. A carpentry-trained installer will find this on the estimate — not after the job has started.
Replacing 12 windows at once costs less per window than replacing them one at a time. Materials are ordered in bulk, the installation crew makes one trip, and disposal is handled in a single load. If your windows are aging across the board, a full-home project is usually the better value.
An insert replacement slides the new window into the existing frame — faster and less expensive. A full-frame replacement removes everything including the frame, trim, and exterior casing. Full-frame is necessary when the frame is damaged or when changing the window size, and costs $200 to $500 more per window.
Why It Matters Who Installs Them
Cincinnati's climate swings from humid summers to freezing winters. A window that is not properly sealed, flashed, and fitted will fail — and most manufacturers will not honor a warranty on a bad install. That is the real cost of choosing on price alone.
